This album contains a selection of photos and images of papercuts and posters taken by me or collected since 1971. These may be used with full acknowledgement for non-profit and educational purposes, and I can supply high resolution jpegs if contacted. The album will in time be extended to the present day.
1978: Heroic Wang Llishan
Wang read a poem denouncing the Gang of Four in the April 1976 demonstration and was pursued by the authorities. In November 1978 the "negative verdict" on rhe demonstration was "reversed" by the post-Mao regime: This woodcut shows Wang declaiming his poem in the square.
